OBIDIENTS CELEBRATE PETER OBI @64
Supporters of the Obedient Movement in Adamawa State, Saturday July 18joined their counterparts across Nigeria, to celebrate the 64th birthday of the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.
In Adamawa, the event was marked in Jimeta-Yola, with renewed calls for Nigerians to emulate his compassionate and people centered lifestyle.

Hundreds of supporters from all 21 local government areas of Adamawa gathered at the popular PZ, Roundabout, better known as Mai Doki, in Yola.
The atmosphere was lively, with music, dancing, and chants of a New Nigeria is Possible!
The birthday walk, was more than just a celebration, it was a show of solidarity and hope for a better Nigeria.
Speaking to USAKU news, Professor Caleb Fili, the Adamawa Regional Coordinator of the Obedient Movement, described Peter Obi as more than just a politician, he says Obi represents an idea, one that goes beyond ethnicity, religion, or region.
“What inspired us is because of his movement, he is a character, a figure and he is an example because peter Obi is an institution, what he does is he visits Idps, people that are less privilege in the society and he always tell us to have compassion over the people, we would not be able to solve their problem but even to visit them and share with them will go long way”.
He welcomed talks of political coalitions, but insisted that any alliance must be based on merit, character and vision, which he said Peter Obi clearly possesses.
Also speaking, the State Coordinator, Mr. Lucas Dongelma, praised Obi’s achievements during his time as Governor of Anambra State, especially his ability to manage public resources responsibly.
“Today he is being celebrated world over and the celebration is what he has as a person or a country like us Nigeria, we are yearning for leaders like him, a leader that can turn things around”.
Engineer Dauda Adamu Ali, Director of Political Engagement and a senatorial hopeful, said Obi’s leadership style is what Nigeria needs at this time.
“Peter Obi is the hope for Nigeria as we usually say because we know he is going to deliver”.
As part of the birthday celebration, the group donated food items to Muslim widows in Yola and visited the Yolde Pate Correctional Centre, where they shared gifts and messages of hope with inmates.
They also visited Kingsley Orphanage, in a gesture they said reflects Peter Obi’s compassion for the vulnerable in society.
