COMMUNAL CLASHES- ADAMAWA GOVERNMENT IMPOSES 24 HOUR CURFEW ON LAMURDE
Adamawa State Government, has imposed a 24 Hour Curfew On Lamurde Local Government, in the Southern zone of the State, with immediate effect.
According to a government statement by Hussaini Hammangabdo, the Press Secretary Office of the Deputy Governor Adamawa State, the curfew followed a renewed communal clash which resurfaced Sunday evening in the area.
Already, security agencies have been directed to restore law and order in the local government area with an immediate effect as Government appeals for peace calm in the area.
